What is sound healing?

Sound healing is the practice of using various sounds and vibrations that can improve our physical and emotional wellbeing. 

In science class, we learn that all things are made of atoms. On a deeper level, bits are made of subatomic particles which vibrate at different frequencies. Everything vibrates at a different story, including our feelings. Happy, pleasant emotions vibrate at higher levels. Things we experience that are stressful or uncomfortable shake on low levels. 

Since the body is made of about 75% water, a conductor of vibrations, sound healing uses instruments that vibrate when played. These vibrations correspond to specific emotions. The good healer can trigger emotions needed to regulate and reset the anxious, nervous system.

Sound healers use singing bowls, gongs, drums, and other instruments to promote healing through vibration. The frequencies during a good healing session can indicate nervous system balance, emotional release, and deep rest.
